Kenosha Convention & Visitors Bureau to host Fall Frenzy

The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau is throwing open the doors of its I-94 Visitor Information Center and inviting the public to a party.

Fall Frenzy takes place Saturday, Oct. 23 from noon to 3 p.m. This is a free, family-friendly fall event. Residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy booths by local attractions, restaurants, and other businesses. There will also be Kenosha Area mascot appearances, trick-or-treat for kids in costume, and prize drawings.

Pleasant Prairie FD responding to report of burning violation

At 6:39 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Fire Department is responding to a report of a possible burning violation in Somers in the 6600 block of 62nd Avenue.

This is an area of Somers which Pleasant Prairie covers with fire service.

Officials are checking to see if the burning is permitted. Leaves are being burned in the street.

At 5:52 p.m., Kenosha  fire and medical units are responding to a report of a crash with injuries in the 7400 block of 39th Avenue, Kenosha.

Fire Department investigating small fire

At 3:05 p.m., units from the Kenosha Fire and Police departments are investigating the report of a small fire in the 4800 block of 32nd Avenue.

Dispatch says the fire may have been set by some children.
