On Sunday, Nov. 21, RecPlex, in Pleasant Prairie, will host the Turkey Indoor Triathlon.

Athletes, ages 8 through adult, are invited to take part in this event. The race will consist of a 10-minute indoor swim in the new Aqua Arena, a 20-minute spin bike ride, and a 15-minute treadmill run. Medals are presented to overall and age group winners.

“An indoor triathlon is a great motivational tool for triathletes during the off season and agreat way to assess your fitness level in preparation for next year’s outdoor triathlon season,” explained Lyn Boehm, programs director at RecPlex. “Participants really love this format and find it to be a great opportunity to compete athletically and have a fun time.”

RecPlex has been hosting indoor triathlons since 2005. Registrations for the Turkey Triathlon will be taken through the morning of the race. The registration fee for the indoor triathlon is $45. RecPlex members receive a $10 discount.
