Kenosha Unified School Board OKs capital projects plan
The 2011-2012 Capital Projects Plan was approved at the Kenosha Unified School Board Tuesday.
Major items included in the plan included:
- Building Exterior Wall Major Maintenance: The biggest component of this category is payment of a portion of the Reuther Central exterior masonry project – $965,000.
- Asphalt/Concrete Replacement/Repair: Refurbishment of asphalt on the running tracks at Tremper High School and Bullen Middle School to make them usable as practice tracks for Bradford and Tremper – $235,000.
- Roof Replacements and Major Repairs: McKinley Middle School, Curtis Strange Elementary School, and Prairie Lane Elementary School are the three schools that will be worked on during this year’s plan – $200,000.
