Peter Barca

State Rep. Peter Barca, who is the Assembly minority leader and represents a northside Kenosha district, wants to clear something up about the intentions of his fellow Democrats now offering amendments to to Gov. Scott Walker’s budget repair bill.

As he said in a press release issued today:

Yesterday I was asked repeatedly by reporters if the goal of Democrats who authored dozens of amendments had the goal of delaying this bill. I cannot express in strong enough terms that our goal is not to delay this bill. Our goal is to stop this bill, end the impasse and start over.”
