Kenosha Community Media, WGTD to host Unified candidate forum
A forum for candidates to the Kenosha Unified School Board will take place on Wednesday, March 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Gateway Technical College, 3520 30th Avenue, in the Center for Bioscience and Information Technology building on the north end of the campus.
The public is invited to attend.
Dennis Shook will moderate the forum. David McGrath, news director at WGTD 91.1 FM, and Terry Lawler, retired educator, will join Shook on the panel. Shook is host of local TV program, “Shakin’ Up Kenosha”, and a board director to Kenosha Community Media, Inc.
Kenosha Community Media, (KCM) a local nonprofit, and WGTD 91.1 are co-sponsoring this forum. WGTD will stream audio live over www.wgtd.org. Kenosha TV, a service of KCM, will videotape the event and broadcast it at a later date on cable channel 14, as seen on Time Warner Cable.
All KUSD Board candidates in the upcoming April 2011 election are being invited to participate.
Robert A. Nuzzo, incumbent Jo Ann Taube, Todd Jacobs and Tamarra Coleman will compete April 5 to fill two positions on the board.
