At 7:48 a.m., Kenosha police are responding to a report of an armed robbery in a parking lot in the Kenosha Unified Education Support Center parking lot, 3600 52nd St., Kenosha.

A man approached a woman in her car, took her purse and fled, dispatch reports. He reportedly had a gun.

Suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, wearing jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

UPDATE 8:31 a.m. – Police have the incident on surveillance video. They searched a home but did not find the suspect. A tracking dog may be brought in from the Sheriff’s Department.
