Units responding to report of roadside fire in Somers

At 2:38 p.m., firefighters and a sheriff’s deputy are responding to a report of a small fire at 30th Avenue and 12th Street, Somers.

Dispatch said a caller said the small fire was near a stop sign at the intersection and may have been started by a discarded cigarette.
