Police Department gives notice of sex offender release
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department is making notification of the release of convicted sex offender, Terry W. Andrews, into the village.
Andrews was to be moved to a residence in the area of the 12200 block of Sheridan Road in Pleasant Prairie on Tuesday, July 12, after being released from prison on June 21, 2011.
His related offenses include Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child (2001). The sexual assaults included force. Victims include male and female teen acquaintances.
Andrews will be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program and will be electronically monitored. Andrews is to have no contact with his victims; he is to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18; he is not allowed to visit taverns, bars or liquor stores, and is not to consume alcohol or drugs. Andrews is required to register face-to-face with local law enforcement and to comply with standard sex offender rules from his parole agent. If Andrews violates his conditions, he will be apprehended, and violations will be investigated immediately.
“This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our intention to inform the public of this offender’s release,” the Police Department bulletin says.
