Pleasant Prairie PD announces release of sex offenders

The Pleasant Prairie Police Department is making notification of the release of two convicted sex offenders — Donald W. Roders and  Jeremy M. Threlkeld – into the village.

Donald W. Roders

Roders was to be moved to a residence in the 12100 block of 120th Court in Pleasant Prairie on July 19, after being released from prison on  the same date. His related offenses include First Degree Sexual Assault (1983). The sexual assaults included force and a weapon. Victims include preteen male acquaintances. Roders will be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program and will be electronically monitored. Roders is to have no contact with his victims; he is to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18; he is not allowed to visit taverns, bars or liquor stores and is not to consume alcohol or drugs. Roders is required to register face-to-face with local law enforcement and to comply with standard sex offender rules from his parole agent. If Roders violates his conditions, he will be apprehended, and violations will be investigated immediately. More information is available here.

Jeremy M. Threlkeld

Threlkeld was to be moved to a residence in the 12200 block of Sheridan Road in Pleasant Prairie on July 26, 2011, after being released from prison on the same date. His related offenses include Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child (2003). The sexual assaults did not include force. Victims included preteen and teen male and female acquaintances and relatives. Threlkeld will be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program and will be electronically monitored. Threlkeld is to have no contact with his victims; he is to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18; he is not allowed to visit taverns, bars or liquor stores and is not to consume alcohol or drugs. Threlkeld is required to register face-to-face with local law enforcement and to comply with standard sex offender rules from his parole agent. “This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our intention to inform the public of these offenders’ release,” the Police Department bulletin says.
