KDOG makes marijuana arrest
Kenosha Drug Operations Group (KDOG), with the assistance of Kenosha Police Department K9 Officer Torres and the Kenosha Police Department gang unit, completed a marijuana drug investigation on Wednesday.
At about 1:45 p.m., the suspect in the case was taken into custody on a traffic stop in the 4200 block of 79th Street on three drug-related charges, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Sgt. Bill Beth said.
A search warrant of the suspect’s residence in the 7900 block of 45th Avenue, Kenosha, resulted in the seizure of a scale, packaging materials, and 2,560 grams of marijuana.
The 24-year-old suspect is currently in custody on three counts of delivery of marijuana, one count of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, and one count of maintaining a drug house within 1,00 feet of a school. “The estimated street value of the marijuana is approximately $9,000,” Beth said.
Sheriff David Beth said of the arrest:
“The struggle to keep drugs off our streets and away from our children is a constant push. Now there is one less drug dealer in this community.”
