Wilmot Raceway wraps up season with sprint car spectacular this week
The Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series will headline the event as the best regional teams from throughout the upper-Midwest will be on hand. Joining IRA will be the Midwest SprintCar Association 360 Sprints, and Wilmot’s own 1200cc Mini Sprints. Over 80 cars are expected.
Pit gates open at 3 p.m.; grandstand gates at 5 p.m. Hot Laps are slated for 6 p.m., with IRA qualifying to follow. The first race is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
It’s also Championship Night for Wilmot’s 410 Goodyear Sprints, which will be competing as part of the IRA program, and Championship Night for the Mini Sprints, too.
Already crowned 2011 Wilmot Raceway champions are:
