Kenosha man dies in early morning crash
A Kenosha man died in a traffic crash early this morning in Somers.
From a statement from the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department:
At 12:47 this morning Kenosha County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle fatal crash on 22nd St. east of STH 31. A 2007 Mitsubishi Outlander SUV, driven by Ryan Schnaare (32 years old) from Kenosha was west bound on 22nd St. approaching STH 31 when it lost control. The vehicle traveled left of the center line and entered the south ditch. It fishtailed out of control striking a tree, culvert and then overturning coming to rest near the northbound lanes of STH 31. Schnaare was ejected from the vehicle. Somers Rescue responded, but did not transport Schnaare. He was declared dead at the scene. 22nd St. in this area was badly iced over, likely due to recent blowing snow.
