The Kenosha Area Noon Optimist Club’s annual Great Kenosha Pizza Bake-Off will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at the UAW Local 72 Headquarters, 3615 Washington Road (handicapped accessible).

At the Great Kenosha Pizza Bake- Off, you can sample over 40 pizzas served from local establishments and vote for your favorite tasting pizza to win the “People’s Choice Awards!”  That’s right; you help pick the winners.

Generous Pizza Bakers donating and serving their delicious creations at this year’s event are:  Baker Street, The Brat Stop, Carl’s Pizza West, Charcoal Grill, Jimano’s, Luigi’s, Nick N Willy’s, Papa Murphy’s, Pazzo, Rocky Rococo, Tenuta’s, Toppers and Valeo’s.

This year’s Celebrity Judges will be sampling pizzas for the “Critics Choice Award.”  The Celebrity Panel will consist of the Chief Executive Officer of the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha, Wally Graffen, Sheriff David Beth, Kenosha Chief Of Police John Morrissey, Kenosha Fire Chief John Thomsen, Pleasant Prairie Chief of Fire and Rescue Doug McElmury, and “Chief DJ,” Bill Lawrence.

There will be an exciting silent auction area, 50/50 raffle, live entertainment, and a visit from the Brewers’ Mascots, the Famous Klement’s Racing Sausages.  Beer, soda, and desserts will be available for purchase at the Bake-Off.

Tickets cost $10 in advance ($12 admission at the door) for adults and $5 in advance ($6 admission at the door) for children 10 and younger.  Tickets are available at the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha (1330 52nd Street), or by sending a check to the Kenosha Area Noon Optimist Club at P.O.
