I-94 Visitor Information Center to host open house March 2

On Friday, March 2, the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau hosts another fun and informative Open House at its I-94 Visitor Information Center. Travelers taking a break from the road, as well as local residents – tourists in their own town – are invited. First Fridays, a free event, takes place from noon to 3 p.m. at this center, which serves as the gateway to Wisconsin for countless travelers from Illinois, numerous other states, and many countries throughout the world. While at the center, pick up a copy of the new 2012 Kenosha Area Visitors Guide. Featured exhibitors on March 2, bringing samples, brochures, coupons, and smiles are:  Jockey Factory Store, Culver’s of Pleasant Prairie, Kenosha Public Museum, Civil War Museum, Dinosaur Discovery Museum, and the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites (with a chance to win a free hotel stay!).  The I-94 Visitor Information Center is located at the southeast corner of I-94 and Hwy. 165, at 10519 – 120th Avenue (Exit 347).
