Units responding to fire in downtown Kenosha

At 1:32 p.m., Kenosha Fire Department units are on scene at a structure fire in the 300 block of 58th Street, Kenosha.

The building is Marina Shores, dispatch reports. The initial report said the fire was in the kitchen and that flames were showing. Call came in about 1:10 p.m. First fire department unit reported light colored smoke coming from the first floor.

UPDATE 1:36 p.m. — We Energies being called to the scene. Estimated time of arrival is 30 minutes.

UPDATE 1:48 p.m. — Engine 4 is clearing the scene.

UPDATE 1:54 p.m. — Two medical units clearing the scene.

UPDATE 3:40 p.m. — Fire command terminated. Heavy damage to kitchen. One firefighter transported from scene by ambulance, but injuries reportedly not serious.
