Units respond to fire at tavern building

Kenosha Fire Department personnel and police responded to a report of a fire at a tavern in the 3000 block of Roosevelt Road, in Kenosha, at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The initial report was of a fire on the second floor, which was later reported as being a gutter near a rear balcony on fire, according to scanner transmissions.

Damage appeared to be confined to the area of the gutter.
