Pleasant Prairie PD announces release of sex offender
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department is making notification of the release of convicted sex offender Eric J. Bish into the village.
Bish is to be moved to a residence in the 12100 block of Sheridan Road in Pleasant Prairie after being released from prison on June 19, 2012.
His related offenses include Indecent Acts Upon a Child (two counts, 1987), Indecent Liberties (three counts, 1987), Possession of Child Pornography (40 counts, 2005). Victims include minor females and minor males.
Bish will be a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registration Program and will be electronically monitored. Bish is to have no contact with his victims; he is to have no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18; he is not allowed to visit taverns, bars or liquor stores and is not to consume alcohol or drugs. Bish is required to register face-to-face with local law enforcement and to comply with standard sex offender rules from his parole agent. If Bish violates his conditions, he will be apprehended, and violations will be investigated immediately.
“This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our intention to inform the public of this offender’s release,” the Police Department bulletin says.
