At about noon, Kenosha Fire Department units are responding to a report of a possible burning violation in the 7300 block of 60th Street.

Dispatch later reported that the location was actually in Somers, but the Kenosha units were already on the scene and proceeded to put out the fire. The Somers fire chief was also called to the scene.

Personnel at the scene reported that a person appeared to be burning pallet wood.

Somers is under a burning ban due to the dry weather conditions.
