St. Peter’s Church festival ends tonight at 9 pm
The St. Peter’s Church Family Festival has been going on all weekend. They’re located at 2224 – 30th Avenue.
On Friday, there was a fish fry and classic car show. The Doo-Wop Daddies (50’s-60’s band) was the entertainment. All foods, kids’ games, 5/$1 booth, silent auction, main raffle booth, beer tent, and showtime were open. Yesterday, 3-D (a three-man acoustic band), and another band, Exhibit A, performed. A polka mass was held at 5:00 pm.
Today, the festival started at noon. There was also a polka mass at 11:30 am. A chicken dinner was served until 4:00 pm. There is a dunk tank and some bouncy houses for the kids. Mike from Jamm Entertainment is doing karaoke until 9:00 pm tonight. The 5/$1 special raffle goes on until 8:45 pm. The main raffle for a car, vacation, and motorized bike will be held at 9:00 pm.
