At 11:55 a.m., Somers Fire and Rescue and sheriff’s deputies are responding to a report of a motorcycle crash in the 11900 block of Highway A, in Somers.

Dispatch says a caller reported seeing a motorcycle down and a person walking around nearby that looked confused.

UPDATE 12:01 p.m. — Motorcyclist laid down motorcycle, not a crash, dispatch says. Fire department units returning to quarters. Deputy says motorcyclist had pulled over to rest and dumped bike when putting down the kickstand.
