Pleasant Prairie Police have issued a new release regarding a marijuana plant seizure in the village:

Officers investigated the report and contacted the property owner. With the property owner’s permission, officers entered the field and seized 15 potted marijuana plants. The plants have an estimated street value of $15,000. Pleasant Prairie Police are currently conducting an investigation. Anyone with information related to this matter is asked to contact the Pleasant Prairie Police Department at (262) 694-7353, or Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at (262) 656-7333.

Why did they replant them in containers after they took them out of the field? Shouldn’t they have just remained ripped out and in bags maybe?
JTB, I believe the police said the plants were potted in the field where they found them.
