It’s official: Paul Ryan is Romney’s VP choice
The selection of U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan as the Republican Party’s nominee for vice president was made official this morning in a speech by presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Romney introduced Ryan at a campaign appearance in Norfolk, Virginia, in front of the retired battleship USS Wisconsin. After he was introduced, Ryan ran down the ship’s deck to the podium.
Here’s some live blog coverage of the speeches from USA Today.
Ryan’s Congressional district includes all of Kenosha County.
