The Kenosha County Department of Public Works announces scheduled work to improve the Canadian Pacific Railroad crossing located on Highway E, approximately 0.5 miles east of  Highway H, in Somers.

The Canadian Pacific Railroad Company will be reconstructing the existing crossing on Highway E. The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 13, and be completed on Thursday, Aug. 16. Highway E will be closed to through traffic between Highway H and Highway EA. Access will be provided to all residences and businesses. A posted detour route will be in place.
