Units responding to report of explosion in Kenosha
At about 8:05 p.m., Kenosha Fire Department units are responding to a report of an explosion and smoke in the area of the 4700 block of 22nd Avenue, in Kenosha.
First units on scene are not seeing any signs of smoke or fire. They are investigating.
UPDATE 8:10 p.m. — Firefighters have checked one street both north and south of 22nd Avenue, but not finding a problem. Dispatch has received only one call about the incident.
UPDATE 8:14 p.m. — Nothing found yet. All but one fire unit returning to scene.
UPDATE 8:19 p.m. — All fire units clearing the scene. Some evidence of fireworks use found.
