Wind advisory in effect for Kenosha County; snow showers tonight?
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for an area including Kenosha County until 7 p.m. today.
Our area could see winds of 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph, according to the current forecast. It will be windier the closer you are to Lake Michigan.
The breeze could be almost as strong Wednesday, with winds to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
And for good measure, there’s a 20 percent chance of precipitation tonight and early Wednesday morning that could be snow showers.
