Units responding to alarm at hospital

At 1:31 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue units are responding to an activated fire alarm at St. Catherine’s Hospital, in Pleasant Prairie.

UPDATE 1:34 p.m. — Hospital officials say they do not know the source of the alarm, dispatch reports. First fire units on scene report no signs of fire from outside.

UPDATE 1:35 p.m. — Source of alarm is believed to be malfunctioning duct detector. Some units being returned to stations.

UPDATE 1:48 p.m. — All fire units clearing the scene.
