Kenosha Christmas Tree Lighting 2012 coverage

The holiday season in Kenosha was kicked off Friday with the official Christmas tree lighting and activities at various downtown businesses.

Mayor Keith Bosman and Santa Claus participated in the pre-tree lighting celebration at the Civil War Museum featuring music by Laura Kaeppeler, Miss America 2012, and the jazz band, Synergy.

After the lighting, those downtown were able to board the Kenosha streetcar, decked in holiday style, for pictures with Santa. Then Lightin’ Up Downtown took place at several downtown businesses.
