Units responding to gas line break in Kenosha

At 3:50 p.m., Kenosha Fire Department units are responding to a report of a gas line break in the 4800 block of 36th Avenue, in Kenosha.

UPDATE 3:51 p.m. — Dispatch reports that incident involves a gas line leading to a dryer in the basement of a four-unit apartment building.

UPDATE 3:52 p.m. — First fire unit on scene reports that people are standing outside.

UPDATE 3:56 p.m. — Firefighters will shut off gas at the meters on the outside of the building, then move to ventilate the basement.

UPDATE 4:01 p.m. — We Energies on the scene.
