Playground fundraiser a huge success

The Kenosha Dream Playground Project held its first fundraiser at the Moose Lodge last night.  Tammy Conforti and Jaime Forsythe are the two ladies spearheading this project.  Conforti said, “We had an amazing day! We shared a meal with 400 people. A big thank you to everyone who attended our first fundraising event.”  Forsythe’s comments were:  “Great turnout for Pasta for a Playground! We had a wonderful rainy day enjoying great food and seeing many friends, old and new.”

A big thank you to the Kenosha Moose Lodge for donating $10,000 to the project.  Below are some pictures from the event, which were provided by Tammy Conforti:

It was a great turnout! Everyone relaxed, ate great food and just shared the warmth of getting together as a community to support a great cause! I was honored to be involved. It was also wonderful that so many of our alderpersons (alderpeople?) and the mayor came out to support this project. With this kind of support from the community, I agree that we can build it!
