Next KACVB First Friday event is Jan. 4
The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau issued the following press release regarding the next First Fridays event at the I-94 Visitor Information Center:
The Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau kicks off the new year with another First Fridays event on January 4th. Winter travelers taking a break from the road and local residents alike are invited to stop by this fun, tasty, and informative Open House at the KACVB’s I-94 Visitor Information Center.
The free event takes place from noon to 3 pm at this center, which serves as the gateway to Wisconsin for countless travelers. Featured exhibitors on January 4th bringing samples, brochures, prizes, coupons, and smiles are:
- Kenosha Public Museum
- Dinosaur Discovery Museum
- Civil War Museum
- Brat Stop
- Holiday Inn Express
- Value Inn
This is also the final day that donations will be accepted at the Center of new or gently used coats, sweaters, hats, mittens, and other warm clothing items as part of the Wisconsin Department of Tourism’s “The Big Bundle Up” campaign. All donations will stay in the local community.
