Units responding to report of shooting in Kenosha

At 3:15 p.m., Kenosha Fire Department units and police are responding to a report of a possible shooting in the 3500 block of 48th Street, in Kenosha.

A caller reported hearing shots and someone shouting “Why did you shoot me?” dispatch reports.

UPDATE 3:25 p.m. — Shooting victim is at the hospital, a police officer reports. Police officer heading there. Fire department units are returning to quarters.

UPDATE 1/7/2012 — Police have a suspect in custody.
