At 10:40 a.m., Kenosha Fire Department units are responding to a report of a fire in an apartment in the 4000 block of University Drive, in Kenosha.

The fire is reportedly in a bathroom. Occupants of the building are evacuating.

UPDATE 10:42 a.m. — Deputy on scene tried to extinguish fire, which is on the bathroom floor, but had to stop due to smoke.

UPDATE 10:46 a.m. – Fire command calls for ventilation fans.

UPDATE 10:51 a.m. — Fire command reports no injuries at this time.

UPDATE 10:56 a.m. — Fire command reports police officers being treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
